Peter and his wife Scotty have many reasons why they selected Pennswood. “The Quaker spirit is very much alive here,” says Scotty. The couple visited 12 different communities from Vermont to Kentucky before settling at Pennswood. “We found kindness, support, friendliness and good food,” explains Peter. “It is a warm, stimulating, best run facility we’ve ever seen and it is one big caring and friendly family,” adds his wife. The couple says they love the atmosphere because “the residents are all interesting and have so much to share.”
