Mention music to Lionel and he can’t wait to tell you about the 18 concerts Pennswood hosts during a year. He serves on a committee that invites the best talent to perform on campus. Lionel moved to Pennswood primarily because of the community’s reputation for integrity and health care services. A retired computer analyst, Lionel says the variety of music programs at Pennswood “are icing on the cake.” For him, playing one of the finely tuned pianos on campus is like “sinking your hands into velvet to play.”
