Interests: Travel, reading, classical music, museums, garage sales and shopping

Proximity to her two children in New York City combined with easy access to the city’s cultural riches prompted Julia to select Pennswood. While visiting friends in the community, Julia immediately liked what she saw. Pennswood “has a lot to offer and the staff are very helpful and caring. Everyone tries to make your life here as comfortable as possible.” And, she loves her Pennswood apartment. With her new book, Twentieth-Century Chinese Women’s Poetry recently released, Julia is already busy with a new writing project -- her Chinese family history.
