Pennswood residents and staff are “very kind,” says Bernice. From the moment she and husband Len moved to the community they felt at home. The couple enjoys the many cultural and intellectual activities offered. Bernice is an active member of Pennswood’s art committees and “Friday Friends” an inter-generational program with children of Newtown Friends Elementary School. For her, “walking in the public spaces at Pennswood is a pleasure because of the fine collection of original paintings, prints and sculptures by well known Pennsylvania artists.”
